Popular fantasy adventure series, Beast Quest, has teamed up with The Sandbox for a massive giveaway. Individuals and teams are tasked with building a Beast Quest-themed game within The Sandbox ecosystem.
$100k in $SAND is up for grabs for fledgling game designers and thanks to The Sandbox’s “no code” game maker, the opportunity is open to everyone. The rules are simple – use the full weight of your imagination to design a game set within the Beast Quest universe.
In order to garner a hefty dose of inspiration, would-be designers are encouraged to check out the existing Beast Quest collection on the marketplace and also brush up on some lore on the Beast Quest website. Upon completion the sponsors will judge the game designs in five categories: idea, design, creativity, playability and wow factor. With this in mind, a maximum of 100 points is achievable.
A whole host of fabulous prizes await the best games. 10 winners will receive a 1×1 plot of LAND, a Beast Quest NFT book, and will feature on the Beast Quest website. Furthermore, winners will share a $100k prize pool, with 1st place receiving $40k in $SAND and the remainder distributed in decreasing integers.
The competition is live now, and entrants have until the September 19 to submit their designs. Voting will commence on September 20, and awards distributed on October 4. Interested parties must submit their designs by completing the application form and via the game maker gallery feature.
